Expert Mode has 20 Pepper Medals to collect:

Satillite (while those Virus enemies are on it)
• Inside the ring
Left Carrier (1st)
• Entrance tunnel, behind the horizontal fire bar
Right Carrier (1st)
• Boss room, behind the boss
Left Carrier (2nd)
• In the main room, cross the first door in front, the coin is on the left
Right Carrier (2nd)
• After the entrance to the main room, on the right
Venom
• Step on the mushroom on the left of the map (not the one in the lower-left corner, a bit north of that)
• In the base, in the trap room to the right, the coin appears after defeating the wall bot
Taitania
• On the pyramidal platform, the coin appears after flying close to the top
• In the base, in the room after the entrance tunnel, the coin is behind a fake wall in a small room south
Macbeth
• Upper right corner, on a crescent rock
• In the base, in the main room, there’s a fake wall covering the upper right corner. The coin is there
Eladard
• In the middle of the red blue and grey rectangular prisms
• In the base, follow the corridor all the way east then south to a trap room. The coin appears after destroying the wall enemy
Meteor
• In the tunnel that goes through the grey hill
• In the first room of the base, on the left behind a fake wall
Fortuna
• In the upper left corner, outside the boundary on the sea floor is the IPBM. The coin is next to it.
• In the base main room, behind a fake wall to the North is a small room with the coin
Astropolis
• Left side, in the first room with lava is room behind a fake wall (check the map)
• Right side, after the first room, behind the first blue arrow in the left
• Left or right side, in the trap room south of the boss room, the coin appears after defeating the wall enemy

NOTE 1: Medals are permantly saved across every playthrough until you delete your records, so you only need to collect them once to save them, you can also just get a medal then reset without finishing the game and it'll count as collected too (great if you want get every one of them before completing the game).

NOTE 2: The only way your gonna get all the Astropolis (where you fight Andross) medals in one run is to let your current pilot die after getting one then continue as the other pilot and go the other way to get the other medal, as resetting doesn't count these ones as collected. This applies to all difficulties as well.

NOTE 3: Reasons you may be doing this is to unlock the Secret Base in a certain difficulty in order to get the Homing Shot (Betas and prototypes had it unlocked by default), and by getting all medals on all difficulties you'll have Fox McCloud's face instead of Andross on the title screen. These unlockables are only in the final version of the game, not included in the prototypes or final beta.
