Yet another sweet Shortcut delight - a homemade dessert recipe for those who like fruit and for ice cream - and doing it differently.
So what we have here are hot fried pears paired with cold frozen ice cream and drizzled with short cake biscuit.
What more could you want for an easy home made dessert recipe that is absolutely out of the ordinary?
You only need a few minutes to cook your pears and another few minutes to eat them!
You also need
Tinned pears (1 can)
50g castor sugar, 100ml cream and about 150ml water.
And some ice cream (your choice) and some short cake biscuits.
Put your castor sugar in the pan and top with the pears.
Cook them until the sugar is caramelised
Add a bit of water to let the caramel down (let it down gently)
Add your cream and cook until saucy
Serve hot with cold ice cream and some crumbled shortcake biscuits.
