Sir Paul Tucker – Former Deputy Governor, Bank of England and Chair, Systemic Risk Council – introduced his new book Unelected Power: The Quest for Legitimacy in Central Banking and the Regulatory State.
This was followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with Dr Christopher Bickerton, Reader in Modern European Politics, POLIS and Fellow in Politics, Queen’s College Cambridge; and Sebastian Mallaby, Journalist and Author of The World’s Banker and The Man Who Knew: The Life and Times of Alan Greenspan.
