In this video, I'll show you how to cook Indonesian-style fried chicken. This recipe's another family favorite, and one of the more frequent dishes that I prepare for my kids when I'm looking to cook up something quick and savory. So for those who're looking to try this at home, give it a go! Serve it up with a bowl of rice, some handmade Indonesian chili paste and vegetable soup on the side. Yummy!!!

► Ingredients :
☑ 1 kg whole chicken, cut 8 pieces
☑ 1 Indonesian leaf
☑ 5 lime leaves
☑ 1 tbsp salt
☑ 2 lemon grass, cut in half and crushed
☑ 1 tbsp galangal, sliced
☑ 1 liter of water, or as much as to cover all the chicken in a pan.
☑ 150 coconut milk
☑ 200 ml coconut oil
► Grind into paste :
☑ 5 cloves garlic
☑ 150 gr shallots
☑ 7 candle nuts
☑ 1 tbsp turmeric
☑ 2 tbsp ginger
☑ 100 ml water
