We had a fun day muskie fishing casting jerk baits at Pymatuning reservoir. The fish were pretty active for summertime, and we had some follows and a few missed opportunities. Joe had the hot rod using a 6" lemon head Leo Lure jerk bait with gold glitter twister tail. I managed to catch one on a zebra colored 8" Leo Lure jerk bait. I had issues with my rod coming loose and being stripped from my reel, as it was not tightening down. Time to upgrade my jerk bait rod I guess. We boated two muskie which is not too bad for late summer in Pennsylvania.
