In order for students to succeed in society, it is important that they continue their education after primary school. In Denmark, more than twenty percent of the students end their education after primary school. If Denmark is to stay competitive, it is important to change this.

The Centre for Strategic Education Research examines the reasons for Danish students' lack of participation in youth education. The Danish Council for Strategic Research has supported the Centre with a funding of 5.4 million euro.
