In this video, I break down a new Ledger scam that’s tricking users through a combination of legitimate-looking emails and deceptive phone calls. The scam starts with a malicious actor opening a support ticket using the victim's email, leading to the victim receiving a real response from Ledger’s support team. This makes the victim believe the issue is genuine. The scammer then follows up with a phone call, ultimately tricking the victim into revealing their 24-word recovery phrase. I walk you through the entire scam, step by step, and share links to the Reddit post and official responses from Ledger, with tips on how to stay safe and protect your assets.
