Supporters of President Donald Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn gathered outside a courthouse Tuesday and sang songs of support as he entered to be sentenced for lying to the FBI.
It was part of the ongoing probe by Special Counsel Robert Mueller into possible collusion between U.S. President Donald Trump's campaign team and Russia leading up to the 2016 presidential election.
Mueller has asked the judge not to imprison Flynn because of his military service and because he provided "substantial" cooperation with the probe.
