WANDELEN OVER ZORGVLIED

We maakten een wandeling over de begraafplaats Zorgvlied. Op 1 november 1870 werd Zorgvlied in gebruik genomen. Zorgvlied is één van de bekendste begraafplaatsen in Nederland en ligt aan de oever van de Amstel. Sinds 2007 is Zorgvlied een Rijksmonument. De begraafplaats hoort bij Amstelveen (voorheen Nieuwer-Amstel). Er liggen veel bekende Nederlanders, onder wie Louis Bouwmeester, Herman Brood, Piet Römer, Seth Gaaikema, Harry Mulisch, Reinbert de Leeuw en Ramses Shaffy. Maar tijdens onze zijn we niet specifiek op zoek gegaan naar graven van BN-ers.

We took a walk through the Zorgvlied cemetery. Zorgvlied was put into use on November 1, 1870. Zorgvlied is one of the most famous cemeteries in the Netherlands and is located on the banks of the Amstel. Since 2007, Zorgvlied has been a national monument. The cemetery belongs to Amstelveen (formerly Nieuwer-Amstel). There are many famous Dutch people, including Louis Bouwmeester, Herman Brood, Piet Römer, Seth Gaaikema, Harry Mulisch, Reinbert de Leeuw and Ramses Shaffy. But during our visit we did not specifically look for graves of celebrities.
