Tented Niche
(canvas Swiss Tents with attached bathrooms)

Tented Niche accommodations are Canvas Tents with attached bathrooms (with masonry walls and fittings) complete with a sit-out to unwind and breathe in the surrounding forests.
Food will be served freshly prepared in the Tent Bhojanashala.
The tents are located in the Anappady campus which can be freely explored by the guests and you may even chance upon a herd of spotted deers or peacocks.
Groups of guests making booking in multiple accommodations in different categories of accommodations may please note that different categories of accommodations are located at different points in the Reserve. Therefore, travelling between them might be be difficult and also restricted at night. Read the descriptions of different types of accommodations to see their locations within the Reserve. The package includes Safari, Food, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking/Bird Watching
The visitors will be accompanied by trained naturalists employed by Parambikulam Tiger Conservation Foundation. All proceeds from the program is recycled to remunerate them and for conservation and upgradation of the Tiger Reserve.

Note:

Safari shall be provided only if at-least two tents are being occupied.
Check-post entry charges shall be additional.
Even though the program includes 'Trekking', it is strongly advised that small children and those with difficulties in walking may refrain from participating. Trekking requires a certain level of physical endurance, especially since the reserve has Elephant presence in all trails.

Rules:

Check-in Time : 12:00 PM and Check-out Time is by 10:30 AM on the subsequent day
Early Check-ins and Late Check-outs shall be subject to availability and payment of additional charges.

Schedule:

Check-in shall be completed by 12:00 PM
Lunch shall be served at 01:00 PM
Safari shall commence by 02:30 PM
Bamboo Rafting shall commence by 04:45 PM
Return to camp by 06:00 PM
Dinner shall be served by 07:30 PM
Tea shall be served at 06:30 AM on the subsequent day
Trekking/Bird-watching shall commence by 07:00 AM
Breakfast shall be served by 08:30 AM
Checkout shall be completed by 10:30 AM
