Plant a rose in a Pot. This tree rose was delivered this week from Jackson and Perkins and I needed to get it planted promptly. So I quickly made a video of me planting it to show you how.
I must confess the rose on the photo thumbnail is not the rose I am planting, I don't have any photos of it yet but I will, I hope, this summer.
When ordering roses online many times they are bare root. Getting them into the ground or into a pot as soon as possible is a good idea.
I can't plant in the ground right now, gophers and voles have been devastating my roses and other plants so this rose is getting planted into a large pot.
This is a double-grafted tree rose, one rose is Iceberg and the other is Burgundy Iceberg. Iceberg roses are pretty tough and thrive here even though I have challenging gardening circumstances. I bought the tree rose online via Jackson and Perkins website.

Hi, I am Pam of FlowerPatch and I grow in a Zone 8a in the mountains (though many times I really do believe it is closer to a zone 7 with my microclimate). Welcome to my channel and all that I share. I only share my personal experience in the garden. Successes and failures. Gardening is never "one size fits all" and there are so many variables in everyone area. I choose to garden organically with nature as my guide. I want my garden to be beautiful but also a haven for wildlife. (except the bears, they are just too destructive around here)
