Bringing water to the Ramanagara | MEIL Drinking Water
The MEIL is carrying out critical civil works in Karnataka’s Mandya and Ramanagara districts to bring drinking water to the water-starved Ramanagara. The company has completed the field works and is laying the pipeline and electro-mechanical works. It has also built two pump houses in Channapatna to bring the River Cauvery water to Sathegala in Chamarajanagar district. Water will be pumped continuously between July and December every year.
