Inspired by the classic basses from the 1970's, this FSR (Fender Special Run) Jazz Bass is a limited edition model for 2018 and features many of the vintage, period accurate specifications that were found on the originals.

It's body is made from Ash (as opposed to more common Alder), and finished in a high gloss polyurethane lacquer to highlight the beautiful grain. The bolt-on neck and and fingerboard are made from Maple, featuring a 70s C-shape profile and vintage 7.25" radius respectfully, so the bass has a very different feel to it from a modern standard model.

Classic Jazz bass tones come from a pair of Fender American Vintage '74 single-coil pickups, which when combined with it's 2 volume and tone knobs offers a wide tonal range. Other era-authentic features include a 3-ply back scratch plate, vintage style frets and hardware, neck binding and block inlays. Supplied with a Fender deluxe gig-bag.
