Independent dive supervisor Krishna Fuentes told the Commission of Enquiry into the death of four divers that diving into a pipeline was “not a thing” and posed severe dangers.
He noted that the rescue divers would have three things against them: it would be penetration diving, contaminants inside the pipeline, and possibility of a further Delta P.
