In this tutorial, Let us learn how to concatenate the Excel ranges.

You might be knowing that we cannot do this by default.

As concatenate function accepts the reference one by one and it would not work if you enter the reference of multiple cells at once.

Like, consider this example where we have got the data range as B5:B11 and let us try to combine by using the concatenate function.

VBA code to copy/paste:

Function CONCATENATERANGE(Ref As Range, Separator As String) As String
Dim Cell As Range
Dim Result As String
For Each Cell In Ref
Result = Result & Cell.Value & Separator
Next Cell
CONCATENATERANGE = Left(Result, Len(Result) - 1)
End Function
