This episode, Your Aging Brain: Childhood, is the first part of a three-part series all about how your brain ages across the lifespan. Here I discuss childhood brain development from birth through adolescence. I discuss synaptic pruning and brain matter loss and gains seen throughout childhood development. Lastly, I focus on the teenage years where some volatile behavior could be explained due to how the brain changes during adolescence.
