IN THIS SONG, Ellimist meets Crayak; another transcendent biomechanical being (though with a very different etiology...one that will be explored on our next album!!!OH THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S GONNA BE HEAVY). With horror, Ellimist learns that Crayak has been undoing all the good he's accomplished within the various worlds he's encountered, destroying entire civilizations in the process. Crayak is just beyond Ellimist's strength, initially; having the upper hand, Crayak sets up death-games across the galaxy in which he seeks Ellimist's contest. In a parallel to Father's games, Ellimist loses game after game; often times composed of the very worlds that Ellimist assisted before; unlike Father's games, these play out with real worlds and real lives; Ellimist battles against the superior Crayak, with Crayak always seemingly one step ahead. We explore both Ellimist's and Crayak's mentality throughout the song; eventually Ellimist flees, seeking an answer to Crayak's devastation. Canonically, Ellimist takes an excursion to the Andalite homeworld, where he learns the secret to defeating Crayak. Where one world dies, two more must be born. And so, Ellimist begins reseeding life into the galaxy (with the help of his created species, the Pemalites); As the galaxy begins to recover, and the Ellimist's powers grow, He finally attacks begins a direct attack on Crayak, abandoning the meager games of before and beginning an all-out war which rolls across the galaxy like plague; Crayak deals a death blow to Ellimist by tricking him into emerging from z-space near the event horizon of a singularity; part of Ellimist is able to escape, while the rest is captured within the depths of the black hole...
WE ARE HAPPY to play SCHECTER, RIVOLTA, JACKSON, and IBANEZ guitars; guitars recorded with AX-8/AXE-FX II
