We really enjoyed our visit at the CNN Center in Atlanta as well as the tour of the CNN Studio in August 2016. It was cool and educational inside look into how a huge news network does its thing with the help of various forms of technology. CNN Center itself feels like a huge indoor mall with a food court with many dining options. We also saw the headquarters for the Cartoon Network.
During the tour you have opportunities to take photos using CNN desks and microphones, visit a simulated CNN Control Room, check out an anchor desk with teleprompter, chroma key system & Magic Wall (akin to a giant iPad).
We were then lead to another area to see the actual CNN crew at work. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photos or videos there.
Overall it was a great experience and we highly recommend you touring if you are visiting Atlanta. Another place we really liked in Atlanta was the World of Coca Cola just a few blocks away- you can see our video if it here:
