This is a work-in-progress filmette of my mosaic of Saraswati, Goddess of the Arts and Knowledge. Initially, I was inspired by my working drawing for my friend, Jennie's mosaic commission created in 2012. The drawing had another lease of life for another drawing for my friend, Jay. And so the inspiration continued to my dining room wall!
The main part of the project took place in June and July 2019 over 23 days.
And during Lockdown 2020, here is Part 2 which shows the finished process of grouting.
