On the Norwegian-Russian border, life has changed. From commerce to border security, the invasion of Ukraine has transformed the way Norway and Russia co-exist. "When I came here in the beginning of the 2000s, we were having football matches with the Russian border guard," notes Lars Erik Gausen, company sergeant in Pasvik Company of the Norwegian military.
