📃 You have probably heard of the so-called Chechen battalions. They are the only units in the Russian army that are distinguished by their national composition. From the outside, it might seem that they do not differ in any way, and they serve in a common system, together with the rest of the army and Special Forces. In reality, however, things are much more complicated. How are Chechen battalions really treated? Why do many officers, especially from the FSB and SOBR Special Forces, dislike them, to put it mildly, and try not to deal with them at all?
