As Nigeria awaits results from its presidential election over the weekend, civil society groups have warned that
disorganisation and violence may have undermined the polls.
Results from Saturday's vote were expected to trickle in to Abuja after being collated at the state and local levels.
Nigerians will soon know who will lead them in the next five years
and one of the most difficult tasks at hand, will be to turn the economy of the country around and adress the high level of unemployment and poverty.
Meanwhile analysts say the people of Nigeria deserve good leadership and the opposition should not be taken to be synonymous with the enemy
calling for all to embrace a peaceful dialogue in dealing with issues affecting the nation.
To discuss this we are joined from our Pretoria studios by Dr. Adeola Ramola, Doctoral fellow at the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria.
