If you’re speaking to someone who’s familiar with sports or watching the event on TV, there are probably some English phrases that aren’t clear.

Whether you’re shouting as your team wins the gold medal in figure skating or expressing disappointment at a missed goal, English conversations on sports are full of idioms.
