China’s financial hub Shanghai is set to lift its unprecedented two-month lockdown tomorrow (June 1). Officials said the public will be allowed to move about freely anywhere in the city as long as they are in a low-risk area. A 72-hour negative COVID test result is needed to take public transport as well as enter public areas. Shanghai has also set up testing booths within a 15-minute walk from any location within the city.
