The facts: A mature student is anyone aged 21 or above at the start of their studies. Apparently...'Just over a half are aged between 21 and 24, 38 % between 25 and 39, and 10 % are over 40 when they commence their courses.'
**Something I missed out!** - I also had to complete an essay which was sent to the faculty leader. I was given a paper to read and a question to answer.
Here's some pointers from the video;
-If you don't have A Levels or equivalent, you may get accepted into University with life/work experience.
-You can receive a maintenance loan as well as a tuition fee loan.
-If you have a job you hate, getting back into education might be something you want to consider.
-You are never too old to go to University. :)
-There is a range of ages on my course. Ranges from 18 to about 53.
-Don't feel you have to choose a course that is job specific - choose one you think you will enjoy too!
