(22 Jul 2014) Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in the Cuban capital Havana late on Monday for a two-day official visit.
Xi was greeted on arrival by Cuban Vice President Miguel Diaz-Canel along with a delegation of Cuban and Chinese diplomats.
The Chinese leader is expected to meet with his Cuban counterpart Raul Castro on Tuesday.
The two are expected to sign several cooperation accords at their meeting.
Cuba is the last stop for Xi on a tour which has seen him travel to Argentina and Venezuela in the past few days.
