Petrotech 25+ is a non-aqueous film-forming fire-fighting agent. Although it forms a white froth on application to the burning fuel, Petrotech 25+ is not a "foam". Petrotech 25+ has been demonstrated to extinguish all classes of fires including magnesium alloys.
Petrotech 25+ is applied through standard fire-fighting equipment at a rate of ˝% to 3% on class A, B, D fires. The above also applies in the case of burning tires against which Petrotech 25+ has been shown to be particularly effective.
