Highlights from Vet the Vote and Charleston County Government's event aboard the USS Yorktown! We heard directly from the Charleston County Government elections team on how elections are run, learned about opportunities for veterans and military family members to serve as paid poll workers, and attendees were able to engage with other veteran and military family organizations interested in supporting election administration in Charleston and South Carolina.

Vet the Vote is a national campaign to recruit veterans and military family members (VMF) to serve as poll workers and register to vote. The VtV coalition is composed of VMF service and engagement organizations and our partners, including the NFL.

Since 2022, VtV recruited more than 161,000 VMF to work the polls.
