Experience the fight of the mighty Tarpon in the Florida Keys with us! Traveling to Florida? Put Tarpon on your list of adventures to experience. The Silver King is known for jumping several feet in the air when you catch them. This was our 3 year quest of catching the Silver King. Our buddy Fred takes us out on his Robalo 160 for live bait deep water fishing. We hooked into many sharks and broke off from a few tarpon so when we caught 3 in 2 days it was an awesome feeling. We woke up early numerous times and went out at sunset many times. Our first tarpon was caught at about 12:55am right before we were gonna call it a night. Next we hope to catch a true giant that's over 100 pounds. There is also some brief history of tarpon fishing in Florida included.
