Android 12 is getting closer to release and we're able to get our hands on more of its new features. The latest that I want to explain is how we're now able to customize which apps are available in the media player controls section of the Quick Settings shade panel.

Google is hard at work on the next major version of Android which is said to be released as 12.0. This update seems to be focusing a lot on privacy but there are a number of other quality of life improvements included as well.
In this video, I want to show you how we're now able to control which media player applications are allowed to be used in the Quick Settings panel shade.
You're likely already aware of how apps are able to insert themselves into this media player section of the notification shade or quick settings panel. We didn't have control over this before but with Android 12 we can now exclude apps from this area.
Not only that, but we can disable it entirely if we wanted to. And it's very easy to do so let me show you how.
