Ok, I got the car epoxy primed and assembled...
So, my plan is to now go the body panels aligned as best as possible and then begin doing any additionally needed metal work and the filler (approved to use over epoxy.)
Tell me veterans- Does getting perfect alignment just take a LOT of guess and check adjustments? Any tips? Getting things close isn't that hard, it's when you need that final 1/16" and don't want to make it worse.
Also, I noticed that my hood closes, but then I can press down on the back by the windshield and make it go down another 1/4". How do I get rid of that? Maybe the hinges are rocking?
Now that she is primed I'm probably going to slow down a bunch. I had some paternity leave time which let me strip her to bare metal and get her primed. Now I don't feel bad leaving her a while. If all goes well, maybe I can paint next summer.
