The State Capture Commission of Inquiry will today hear the testimony of an unidentified witness regarding the country's intelligence agency.
Yesterday, State Security Minister Ayanda Dlodlo unsuccessfully tried to postpone the testimony of the Department's Acting Director-General Loyiso Jafta, saying it could compromise national security.
Jafta said the intelligence agency blatantly disregarded the law, violated the constitution and abused state resources, including siphoning off huge sums of money from the state.
Political analyst Lukhona Mnguni joins us via skype to discuss this.
