As part of the rebuild of our 1973 AMC Hornet I finally decided to ditch the old seats in favor of ProCar by Scat Rally 1000 seats and I could not be happier! Unfortunately the brackets our our car were out of stock, so I went with the ProCar universal kit and had it welded up to fit. Was pretty easy, and these seats look and feel fantastic!

If you don’t know the story, this car has been in our family for about 15 years - after being down for 2 years for a full mechanical rebuild we took the car on PowerTour and got hit by a dump truck on our way to the venue on Day 2. After some soul searching and a lot of help, we decided to continue on, and finished the 3,300 mile journey with the car, and this is the story of rebuilding it, again.
