Sikhs from India were welcomed to Pakistan in mass to celebrate the 552nd birthday of the Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, Friday, November 19.
The festivities took place at the shrine of Guru Nanak in Nankana Sahib, the Pakistani city where he was born.
Indians were unable to cross the border into Pakistan for the celebration in 2020 due to coronavirus restrictions.
More than 12,000 people celebrated at the shrine, with hundreds of nearby residents watching the festivities from their rooftops. (AFP)
