Episode 54 : Ardara, The Best Village To Live In Ireland
Ardara, County Donegal is best known as the home of Donegal Tweed, but has many more claims to fame. In 2012 it was awarded the prestigious prize of ”Best Village to Live in Ireland” by the The Irish Times. It is also known as the town of festivals, having no less than 15 festivals each year.
Local businessman Michael Molloy told us all about the town’s festivals, it’s history, the sights to see and did you know that the Disney classic Darby O’Gill and the Little People has It’s roots in Ardara.
