Webinar by Stefan Hägewald
Dr. Hägewald explains the rationale of periodontal regeneration with enamel matrix proteins with the help of case presentations on intrabony defects, furcation defects and mucogingival problems.
Dr. Hägewald is senior lecturer at the Freie Universität Berlin and since 2005, maintains a private practice with focus on periodontology and implantology.
During the webinar the biological principles of periodontal regenerations are discussed, an overview of the classification, diagnostics and therapy of bone defects is given and the concept and mechanism of using Emdogain® is presented.
Emdogain® has been shown to be effective in sites of more than 6 mm probing pocket depth associated with a radiographic vertical bone loss more than 3 mm. It is a well-researched, easy-to-apply gel containing enamel matrix derivative originating from unerupted porcine tooth buds.
mucoderm® is an acellular collagen matrix derived from porcine dermis that offers a safe alternative to autologous soft tissue transplants. ([ Ссылка ])
