One of the rallying cries during the latest Denver teacher strike was ‘flip the board.’ The teachers’ union along with pro neighborhood school advocates saw an opportunity in 2019 to win back the majority of the school board for the first time in years. On Tuesday, they succeeded. Union-endorsed candidates Tay Anderson, Brad Laurvick, and Scott Balderman won their contests.
