The brother of the murdered television presenter Jill Dando will appear in the new Netflix documentary about her life in the hope that his sister's killer will finally be brought to justice. Nigel Dando does not support the conspiracy theories put forward since his sister was shot dead on her doorstep in west London in April 1999 and has his own idea about what happened.
Nigel, also a journalist living in Portishead, still believes that there are people out there who have the missing pieces of the jigsaw. He hopes the Netflix documentary could prompt them to come forward over 20 years later.
Netflix said its series about the Crimewatch presenter from Somerset, who was 37 when she died, would focus on her "life, career, legacy and what would become one of the most notorious unsolved murders of the 20th century". It will focus on the police investigation and talk to relatives, friends and co-workers.
