Happy with my new Chromecast I connected the powerplug with Ethernet to my onkyo avr with 4K support I ended up with a flickering video stream. Also the static setup and update procedures were the same.

I connected it straight up to my TV and had exactly the same. Performed a reset didn't solve anything.

Hooked it up to another power supply and the flickering stopped. Connected to WiFi but now it only streams 1080p 59Hz.

I tried to Change the 50Hz option in the Google home app with the original power supply neither through the AVR or straight on the TV solved something.

What a bummer! Does some one know a solution or is my device defective?
