With less than one week to polling day in Malaysia, coalition strongholds and parties are pulling out all the stops to shore up support. But campaigning has taken a backseat in many states, where heavy flooding has forced thousands to flee their homes. Voter apathy has also become a major issue confronting candidates. Dr Cassey Lee, senior fellow at the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute, shared more about voter concerns, including the cost-of-living crisis and enhancing economic growth.
