한미 북핵대표 "북미 실무협상 조속히 재개될 수 있도록 외교적 노력 지속"
The top nuclear envoys of Seoul and Washington have vowed to continue diplomatic efforts to resume working-level talks on the denuclearization of Pyeongyang.
Seoul's Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs, Lee Do-hoon held a meeting with his U.S. counterpart Stephen Biegun in Berlin on Thursday local time.
They shared the assessment of the positive movements on the Korean Peninsula as of late... after the historic and unprecedented summit among President Moon Jae-in, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump at the Demilitarized Zone on the inter-Korean border.
The two diplomats also discussed how Seoul and Washington can cooperate to ensure that working-level negotiations pave the way to the complete denuclearization and permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula.
