Tony Northrup reviews the Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 lens. It's the WORLD'S FASTEST Full-frame lens! It's more than a full stop faster than the traditional f2.8 zoom lens, meaning the results you get in low-light basically turn your full-frame camera into a medium format camera.

We test the sharpness, which turns out to be AMAZING! We also test the contrast and flaring, which beat the Sony zoom but don't quite match the prime. The macro capabilities match the Sony 35mm prime, but don't surpass the 24-70 zoom.

Ultimately this 1.6X zoom lens is pretty niche. I think of it as a 35mm F1.8 prime with a bit of wiggle room. But for scenarios where this is the perfect focal length, like a wedding reception or many types of video, it's the ultimate professional lens.
