We believe that using modern technology such as finger tracking, image recognition, gesture recognition, augmented reality, voice recognition we can make an interactive personal assistant for the blind persons. The application is the teacher / specialist over the shoulder that any blind person needs to learn what objects they cannot touch in real life look like. Tactile Images READER creates the informational context for a visually impaired person to learn on their own and to live up to society's expectations.

👁️ Tactile Images gives your child living with learning disabilities the opportunity to study independently and have a fulfilled life.

What will you find on this e-learning platform?

📚 LIBRARY - a collection of 800 tactile graphics that have a QR Code attached and can be explored independently with a mobile app. Each graphic has a specific description (Romanian - 700 graphics, English - 100 graphics).

✍️ EDITOR - a module that allows parents and teachers to personalize tactile graphics. They can either digitize the graphics they have at home or adapt those in our LIBRARY to the knowledge level and age of any child.

📱 READER APP - an iOS app that enables the independent study of the tactile graphics in the LIBRARY or of those created in the EDITOR.

The app uses Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Augmented Reality to identify the position of the index finger and speaks to the person exploring the drawing.

The iOS app is at the Alpha level.

💛 EMBOSSING TECHNIQUES - inexpensive embossing methods that anyone can try at home using only a syringe and some wood adhesive

🖨️ PRINTER - a printer working on wood glue that anyone can build at home to emboss tactile graphics (work in progress)

🎨 DRAWING TOOL - a module that allows parents and teachers to create new tactile graphics with a drag & drop system (work in progress)
