The leopard seal is one of the great predators of the Antarctic Ocean. Each year, at the end of the austral summer, he joins the lands to hunt the penguins gathered in large numbers to raise their young.
He delivers a murderous and spectacular hunt to the Gentoo and Chinstrap penguins who are forced to try to thwart his vigilance to go to feed. Some of them are sacrificed to the predator each time a group goes to the water.
