On the 24th of February Russian forces began their invasion of Ukraine in what they hoped would bring a quick and easy victory. A year since then, the war continues to devastate towns and cities with no end in sight, with Moscow systematically targeting Ukrainian civilian infrastructure including the energy grid while stepping up its offensive in the eastern Donbass region.
