For stereo output instruments, you need of insert cables, because it has stereo inputs as well.
You need a 2amp mobile phone charger to power it up. The audio quality is stunning, noise free, clean, and it is also very sturdy. Most likely cheap because they toggled the 'mono' and 'stereo' print on the panel. LoL
I have 1x 8 channels (for some stereo instruments) and 1x 6 channels here that I use on some old mono analog synths.
