A tiny, fragile puppy named Maloy was found abandoned, severely injured, and in excruciating pain, likely from a dog bite that caused a severe neck injury. Despite suggestions to euthanize him, the rescuer couldn't give up on him. Maloy showed signs of will to live, eating and reacting to his surroundings. He was transferred to a veterinary clinic in Moscow where further tests confirmed a critical neck injury, and he underwent multiple procedures, including a CT scan and treatment for a worm infestation.
After overcoming critical moments, including a life-threatening episode during anesthesia, Maloy began showing improvement. With daily physical therapy and constant care, he progressed, learning to lift his head and eventually attempting to paddle his paws during swimming exercises. His determination led to a milestone where he stood on his own for the first time, defying initial expectations. The journey continued with Maloy working hard every day, showing signs of recovery, and even beginning to walk.
