India's Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal, highlighted that the country’s exports have doubled over the past decade despite global challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, international conflicts, and economic crises. Speaking in New Delhi, he projected that India's exports would surpass $800 billion in the financial year 2024-25, marking a historic achievement. Goyal attributed India's growing appeal as an investment destination to its robust digital infrastructure, interconnected grid, and affordable data. He also confirmed that trade negotiations with the UK on a Free Trade Agreement would resume after the conclusion of India's Parliament Winter Session.
