In celebration of Daring Design: The Impact of Three Women on Wharton Esherick’s Craft, on view at the Michener Art Museum from September 10, 2021 - February 6, 2022, we’re excited to highlight photographer and Esherick patron Marjorie Content! In this fun 20-minute program, we explore Content’s friendship with Esherick which led to a number of commissioned works, including an unparalleled bedroom set for her New York City apartment. We also take a look at the Content photos held in our photo collection and shed a little light on this important part of our museum archives.
