On December 4 2010, the South Gippsland Railway operated a special train with rebuilt DERMs 55RM and 61RM plus Brill trailer 200MT along the length of their line between Nyora, Korumburra and Leongatha.
61RM had recently been transferred from the Victorian Goldfields Railway, while 200MT had undergone an extensive restoration by the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre and this was their first day in service on the South Gippsland Railway and join 55RM which has been based at the SGR for many years.
This video features the morning and afternoon trips from Korumburra to Nyora and return. The Korumburra to Leongatha section is featured in parts 2 and 3 of this video.
